Blue Ant Media hires Gwen Jones McCauley

The former BBC Worldwide Canada exec (pictured) has joined Blue Ant Media as its director of international sales, effective August 18.

Canada’s Blue Ant Media has hired Gwen Jones McCauley (pictured) to be its director of international sales, effective August 18.

She was previously VP of content sales at Thomas Howe Associates, and before that worked at BBC Worldwide Canada. In her new role, she will cover territories including Latin America, U.S. Hispanic, Spain, Portugal and Africa, representing Blue Ant at MIPCOM in Cannes in October.

“As our catalog continues to expand exponentially, we are growing our division with international expertise to service the needs of our global content buyers,” said Solange Attwood, Blue Ant Media’s senior VP of international, in a statement.

“Gwen’s international sales experience and superior customer service will be essential to continuing to build a roster of top tier content partners and an industry-leading catalog of high quality programming.”

Jones McCauley added: “I look forward to joining the Blue Ant International team and representing their premium content in the international marketplace.”
