Sky Vision, the international distribution arm for BSkyB, has penned deals with a number of European broadcasters for a one-off documentary commemorating the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

The hour-long, Sky Vision Productions-made doc entitled Berlin Wall: The Night the Iron Curtain Closed (pictured) uses dramatic reconstructions and eyewitness accounts to detail the events leading up to the wall’s construction in 1961, including an exclusive interview with Adam Kellett-Long – one of the few Western journalists working in East Berlin who witnessed the event.

The doc has thus far been sold to Germany’s NTV, France’s Planete Cable, Hungary’s AMC Networks International and MTVA, and Iberia’s History Channel, and is set to be delivered ahead of the November 9 anniversary date.

Berlin Wall: The Night the Iron Curtain Closed is an international copro between U.S. net American Heroes Channel, UKTV channel Yesterday, SBS Australia and S4C Wales.
