U.S. indie T Group Productions has formed a coproduction partnership with London- and LA-based prodco Znak&Jones, which will see the companies unite on projects for the UK market.

Through the partnership, T Group and Znak&Jones will work together to develop both original and U.S. formats to be pitched directly to UK broadcasters.

The partnership is the latest push by T Group to bolster its international productions. The company is currently coproducing a British version of its original series Storage Hunters for UKTV.

Meanwhile, Znak&Jones – which launched in September – is led by American Idol producer Simon Jones (pictured above, centre) and Hell’s Kitchen producer Natalka Znak (right). The team is presently at work on a revival of Name That Tune for ITV, and also inked a distribution partnership with Sky Vision in September.

“Both Natalka and Simon have an incredible production history in the UK and have earned the trust and respect of international commissioners,” said Jenny Daly (pictured above, left), president of T Group, in a statement. “They’re the perfect company to partner with as T Group expands original production in the UK market.”

Znak added: “We are huge fans of Jenny Daly and T Group, and are delighted to be able to work with them in the UK. Their shows are a perfect fit for us and the sheer energy of the company is an inspiration to us.”
