TLC UK has commissioned a 60-minute documentary on Shameless actor Tina Malone’s cosmetic surgery.

Commissioned by Sarah Thornton, TLC UK & Ireland’s VP of production and development for factual entertainment, and produced by True North Productions, Tina Malone: My New Body (working title) follows the actor (pictured above) as she undergoes numerous operations to remove 12 lbs. of excess skin, following a dramatic weight loss and a pregnancy.

Fitted with a gastric band in 2014  after she was unhappy with her 280 lb. figure, Malone slimmed down to a size eight. She then became pregnant, which was chronicled in Tina Malone: Pregnant at 50, a  60-minute TLC UK documentary that drew some 500,000 viewers, according to the network.

Malone is currently undergoing eye, face, neck and body surgery, giving cameras access to record her personal journey and the reaction of her family as she also adjusts to life as a new mother.

TLC UK’s Mark Procter and True North Productions’ Fiona O’Sullivan serve as exec producers.
