INTV conference adds Spurlock, Plepler to line-up

Filmmaker and Warrior Poets co-founder Morgan Spurlock, HBO CEO Richard Plepler and MTV president Stephen Friedman (pictured) are among the speakers headed to Jerusalem for the third annual INTV conference.

The two-day event – which centers on the intersection of innovation and technology in television – runs March 15 and 16, and is presented by Israel’s Keshet Media Group.

HBO’s Plepler is to engage in a conversation with author and political commentator Ari Shavit about politics and programming, while MTV’s Friedman is set to discuss how the brand is evolving through new viewing platforms.

The line-up also includes Joel Stillerman, AMC executive VP of original programming; Orly Adelson, president of ITV Studios America; Carrie Stein, executive VP of global production at Entertainment One; and Sharon Tal, executive VP of scripted programming and original development at Fox International Channels.
