GRB scores sales in Middle East and Africa

California-based producer-distributor GRB Entertainment has secured deals across Africa and the Middle East for sports docuseries Game Changers and My Beautiful Game (pictured).

California-based producer-distributor GRB Entertainment has secured a number of deals for the sports docuseries Game Changers and My Beautiful Game (pictured) in the Middle East and Africa.

East Africa’s Wananchi picked up When Fun Turns to Fear, which follows deadly holidays; Without Warning, on experts who venture into high-risk disaster zones; the religious series In Search of Holy Treasure; and My Beautiful Game, on soccer’s greatest moments.

Elsewhere, Upstar took My Beautiful Game and Game Changers for Angola and Mozambique.

Over in the Middle East, sales include the acquisition of comedy clip show Bloopers by Kuwait TV, and the sale of documentary The World Class, on a progressive “global network” university in Abu Dhabi, to Alhurra.

South Africa’s M-Net, meanwhile, which has acquired seasons three and four of Braxton Family Values as well as seasons two and three of spin-off series Tamar and Vince.
