Top execs from Discovery Communications, HBO, AMC Networks and Channel 4 are among the speakers confirmed for the Royal Television Society’s Cambridge Convention.
The biennial event takes place from September 16 to 18 in Cambridge, UK, and will explore the future of content creation and TV business models as well as “what the next decade holds for public service broadcasting in the UK.”
BBC director-general Tony Hall is chairing the convention. Headlining speakers include Discovery Communications president and CEO David Zaslav (pictured), HBO president of programming Michael Lombardo, AMC Networks CEO aa Joshua Sapan, Ofcom CEO Sharon White, Channel 4 CEO David Abraham and Viacom president and CEO Philippe Dauman.
“The TV landscape is changing fast. Viewers have access to a multitude of new ways to watch their favorite programs, and since the last RTS Cambridge Convention in 2013 there have been seismic changes across the production sector,” Hall said in a statement.
