A+E Networks UK is expanding its footprint in the Balkans with the launch of H2 in Serbia.

Following launches on m:tel in Bosnia and Herzegovina in April, H2 is now heading to Serbia’s Telekom Srbija-owned IPTV platform mts TV in a deal that will bring the net to 300,000 homes in Serbia. History previously launched in the country in 2008.

“H2 is the perfect complement to History, offering viewers a chance to delve even further into the riches of world history, famous figures and historical events,” said Bakori Davis, VP of commercial operations at A+E Networks UK, in a statement.

H2 is currently broadcast in over 60 territories, including Poland, Norway and Denmark, as well as throughout the Middle East. The Serbian launch of H2 will feature such programming as Brad Meltzer’s Decoded, Ancient Aliens and Warriors.
