“Shark Tank,” “Face Off” among Critics’ Choice winners

ABC’s Shark Tank and Syfy’s Face Off were the top reality winners at this year’s Critics’ Choice Television Awards.

Shark Tank, which just wrapped its sixth season, went home with the Best Reality Series award. The series is exec produced by Mark Burnett and based on the format Dragon’s Den.

Elsewhere, Syfy’s Face Off won Best Reality Competition Series. The show tests the skills of Hollywood special effects make-up artists and was recently greenlit for a ninth season.

So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley – who hosted the Critics’ Choice gala ceremony – won the Best Reality Show Host award.

The Critics’ Choice Television Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday (May 31) and were broadcast live on A&E. The awards were given out by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association, and honored programs that aired between June 1, 2014 and May 31, 2015.
