UK distributor DCD Rights has bolstered its international sales team with the appointments of James Anderson (pictured, left) and Lenneke de Jong (right).

In his new position as senior sales executive, Anderson – formerly a sales manager with IMG Media – will oversee deals with Japan, Asia, Eastern Europe, Benelux, Africa and the Middle East.

Over at IMG Media, the exec was responsible for the worldwide distribution of digital and home entertainment rights. He has also held sales executive roles at BBC Worldwide for digital and DVD sales in Benelux and Scandinavia, and at 3DD where he oversaw international DVD sales.

De Jong, meanwhile, has been appointed to the newly created role of sales executive for Latin America, Spain and Portugal, where she will be responsible for distributing content to the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking territories. Having joined the company from Endemol Shine, she will also manage in-flight, non-theatric and clip sales.

Both Anderson and de Jong will report to Rick Barker, DCD Rights’ head of sales.

Elsewhere, the London-based distributor has tapped Simon Bath, the former client technical coordinator at Deluxe Media, as its latest technical coordinator, while Lianna Pim has been enlisted as acquisitions assistant reporting to Pilar Perez, DCD Rights’ head of acquisitions. Finally, Lucy Pryke has been hired to support marketing and deliverables teams.

“We have a number of exciting new deals and developments in the pipeline and establishing such a strong sales and distribution team is absolutely essential in ensuring we maximize the performance of our content worldwide – both for the producers we are working with and our broadcaster clients,” said DCD Rights CEO Nicky Davies Williams in a statement.
