Endemol Beyond USA, the digital arm of Endemol Shine Group, has partnered with global digital developer Piksel to roll out the over-the-top platform GetBeyond.US.
The digital video platform, which launches today (September 9), includes a host of content from Endemol Beyond USA and its premium lifestyle network Icon, headed by YouTube star and beauty guru Michelle Phan (pictured).
Additional programming from the forthcoming gaming and sports network Smasher and pop culture network Looksy will soon be added to the platform, alongside content from musicians Pitbull and Jessica Sanchez, actors Drea de Matteo and Andy Milonakis, and Internet personality Brittany Furlan.
The partnership provides Endemol Beyond USA greater control over its distribution, allowing it to monitor and enhance user experience through Piksel’s analytic capabilities. This will accelerate Endemol Beyond USA’s premium content network strategy, consolidate programming, and allow the digital network to reclaim revenue streams, said Kevin Joyce, chief strategy officer at Piksel, in a statement.
“This move by Endemol Beyond USA opens the door to deeper branding of content, increased fan engagement through the accumulation and analysis of data, and ultimately, their content will reach more consumers and devices at a faster rate,” the exec added.
Endemol Beyond USA will be supported by Piksel’s recently launched Live Streaming and Monitoring Center, which is dedicated to overseeing broadcasts and live streaming events for Piksel’s global clients.
Endemol Beyond currently records more than 1.8 billion monthly views across its channels. The network’s content is available across over 20 platforms, including YouTube, Roku, TiVo, DailyMotion, Amazon Fire TV and Vessel.
