A+E Networks expands global format sales team

A+E Networks has bolstered its international format sales team with the addition of Naomi Koh (pictured) to director of international format sales, and the promotions of Robyn Hurd and Paul Hardy.

A+E Networks has boosted its international format sales team with a new hire and two promotions.

Naomi Koh (pictured) has been named director of international format sales. Previously head of studio partnerships at Channel 5, Koh provided oversight to the UK broadcaster’s content production fund for commissions across the Viacom channels.

Prior to this, she served as VP of sales at Zodiak Rights, where she negotiated program and format sales across 25 countries in Central Eastern Europe and Asia.

Robyn Hurd - whom Koh is to report to – has expanded her role as senior director of international content sales to now include oversight of format sales throughout EMEA, with direct responsibility for the UK market.

The exec currently manages content distribution throughout the UK, Ireland, Benelux, Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. Hurd will report to Ellen Lovejoy, VP of international content sales, regarding format sales, while continuing to report to Denis Cantin, VP for head of content sales for EMEA, for program sales.

Finally, Paul Hardy will move from sister network Lifetime to join A+E International as international roving executive producer. He will be charged with supporting the sales and creative implementation of formats to third-party prodcos, platforms and global format partners. He is formerly the VP of reality programming at Lifetime, where he worked on such series as Celebrity Home RaidersLiving with the Enemy and True Tori. Hardy will report to Sally Habbershaw, VP of international programming, production and operations.
