The Realscreen Summit’s ever-popular annual pitching competition, the Summit Showdown, returns in 2016, and potential pitchers can now submit their entries.

Those wishing to enter projects for consideration have until December 11, 2015 to submit work. Clips for pitches can be uploaded via the competition’s electronic entry form, which can be found here.

The 2016 edition of the Summit Showdown will be hosted by Drew and Jonathan Scott, co-founders and executive producers at Scott Brothers Entertainment and hosts of the international hit Property Brothers (airing in the U.S. on HGTV) as well as the series Brother vs. Brothers and Buying and Selling.

In the live pitching competition – always a standing room-only session at the Summit – pitching hopefuls who have made it through a rigorous adjudication round compete to impress a host of distinguished network executive judges. Participants will be judged on the creativity and marketability of their concept, in addition to the quality and execution of their pitch.

The Grand Prize package includes custom music for the winning show by Vanacore Music, a pass to the 2017 Realscreen Summit and a GoPro HERO4 Session Waterproof HD Sports & Helmet Camera.

Vanacore Music will offer the winner full access to the Vanacore music library, music supervision and 10 custom tracks produced by their award-winning composers and tailored specifically for the winning entrant’s next sizzle or pilot.
