After 12 years with Fox International Channels (FIC) Italy, managing director Fabrizio Salini (pictured, left) is to depart at the end of the year, as Kathryn Fink (right) steps into the post.

Salini played a key role in launching brands Fox Comedy and Fox Animation, while heading up Fox Entertainment Channels as well as coordinating marketing and on-air promotions before rising to MD last year. He will be stepping down from his role to “pursue a new opportunity,” according to FIC.

Meanwhile, Fink will enter into her new role as MD on January 1, 2016. Prior to boarding FIC, Fink served as head of programming at Sky Italia, where she helped launch the Italian broadcaster in 2003. Previously, she held a number of high profile posts within News Corp, including director of finance and senior VP of news digital media.
