Richard Cook, most recently acting head of television for Pulse Films, is joining Argonon-owned Leopard Films USA as its VP of talent.
Cook, who joins the New York-based prodco on November 17, will report to CEO James Burstall and will be tasked with helping facilitate the company’s drive towards expansion into new genres and content platforms, with a focus on character-driven docusoaps, formats and factual entertainment.
At Pulse, Cook was responsible for such formats as The Cruise Ship for ITV and Channel 4′s Pro-Gamers. Previous positions included a stint with 10 Group as head of television, and with Eyeworks/At It Productions in the same capacity.
“Rich is a dynamic, clever, mischievous creative with an impressive track record,” said Burstall in a statement. “We are excited to bring him to New York to work with us.”
