About Premium Content (APC) has inked pre-sales for Dream the Future (pictured) and Jimmy Goes to Nollywood, while acquiring global rights to Freightened.
The Paris- and London-based boutique financier and distributor has sold the Update Productions- and Bonne Pioche-made Dream the Future (10 x 52-minutes) across Germany and Austria via Servus TV, and in Belgium through RTBF.
The 10-part docuseries, which was commissioned by Planete+, explores the future through research provided by scientists and global celebrities.
Elsewhere, the U.S., Canada, UK and Africa have acquired factual special Jimmy Goes to Nollywood, which features award-winning actor Jimmy Jean-Louis as he exposes a behind-the-scenes look at Nigeria’s movie industry. The one-off was initially commissioned by Cine+.
Meanwhile, the distributor has secured the global rights to La Compagnie des Taxi‐Brousse and Polar Star Films’ Freightened (1 x 52-minutes), an in-depth investigative special that reveals the mechanics and perils of the unregulated sea shipping business.
