UK pubcaster Channel 4 has ordered a two-hour Hollywood-focused stunt special hosted by the former “Governator.”

Produced by London-based indie Zig Zag Productions, Arnie’s 50 Greatest Ever Stunts will showcase host Arnold Schwarzenegger (pictured) as he highlights Tinseltown’s most famous and well-orchestrated exploits. The film will interweave exclusive access into how each stunt came together with commentary from Schwarzenegger, fans, comedians, stunt coordinators and daredevils.

The doc – for which Zig Zag retains the rights for the U.S. and Australia – will include such feats as actor Jean-Claude Van Damme’s splits between two speeding trucks, and Austrian daredevil Felix Baumgartner’s record-breaking skydive to Earth from the stratosphere, in which he became the first person to break the sound barrier without the assistance of a vehicle.

Zig Zag’s Andy Scott and Danny Fenton serve as executive producers.

Ian Dunkley, editor of factual entertainment, and Liam Humphreys, head of factual entertainment, commissioned the special for Channel 4.

The special follows a wave of recent commissions for the UK indie, including Bloomberg Television’s Opportunity Africa, RTE2′s Money Can Buy You Love, and C4′s music-based quiz show Blink.
