ID takes aim with Sirens’ “Deadly Demands”

Discovery Communications-owned network Investigation Discovery (ID) has set a March 14 premiere date for its hostage negotiation series Deadly Demands (pictured).

Produced by Sirens Media, the six-part series will offer viewers an inside look into the motivations behind hostage situations, the history between abductees and their captors, and the moments that led to standoffs with law enforcement officials.

Through authentic audio recordings from police negotiation tapes, re-enactments and expert testimony, the series will provide insight into the actions required by law enforcement to safely de-escalate tense situations and save the lives of innocent bystanders.

Valerie Haselton and Rebecca Toth Diefenbach serve as executive producers for Sirens Media, with David Erickson listed as co-executive producer. ID’s Pamela Deutsch is senior executive producer, while Sara Kozak is senior VP of production.

Deadly Demands is scheduled to bow across ID on March 14 at 10 p.m. EST/PST.
