The first day (June 8) of the eighth annual Realscreen West at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica, California, kicked off with a keynote talk by newly promoted NBC Entertainment reality chief Paul Telegdy, and continued with sessions that covered diversity, new trends in crime programming, how to make money in the world of streaming and the differing approaches to premium content on cable. Rounding out events was a cocktail reception hosted by Pact US and its new board. Check back tomorrow for photos from day two and the Realscreen Awards.
