Los Angeles-based Mission Control Media, the prodco behind Syfy’s Face Off and NBC’s Hollywood Game Night, has brought on veteran TV exec Nicholas Oakley-Tilley as its SVP of development.
Oakley-Tilley, most recently with HLN as head of West Coast development, will report to Mission Control co-presidents Michael Agbabian and Dwight D. Smith.
Prior to HLN, Oakley-Tilley had worked in development for MTV, Mentorn and ITV Studios. He began his television career as a producer at the BBC.
“Nick brings a unique talent for both finding and creating fresh, inspired material along with a determination that is infectious. We are excited to have him join our team and can’t wait to sell some amazing shows together,” said Agbabian in a statement.
The prodco announced it was producing a music-focused game show for Spike, Tracks, along with MX Productions, in association with Lionsgate. The show is exec produced by Christina Aguilera.
