Endemol Shine Group’s musical game show The Big Music Quiz is heading to Germany, marking the format’s third territory deal.

Endemol Shine Germany has been commissioned to produce for RTL Germany a six-episode primetime run for the game show, in which celebrity contestants face creative musical challenges.

The show was created by Shine France and Ardisson&Lumières and initially premiered on TF1. Earlier this week, The Big Music Quiz made its English-language debut in Australia on Channel Seven, produced by Endemol Shine Australia.

“The format is on a roll with fantastic ratings in France and Australia and this latest deal in Germany, where we think audiences will be equally enthralled,” said Lisa Perrin, CEO of creative networks at Endemol Shine Group in a statement.

Endemol Shine Germany credits include local versions of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Celebrity Big Brother, The Brain, Kitchen Impossible, World Games and Big Box, Little Box
