Discovery Channel has a brand new series keying into modern life ubiquitous digital devices like smartphones and GoPros. Still Alive, set to premiere on Sept. 14, will share the nail-biting life-or-death stories of the people who not only survived them, but also had the wherewithal to capture their death-defying moments on camera.
Produced by Beyond Productions, each one-hour episode of Still Alive will feature people sharing never-before-seen video footage as they recount how they survived harrowing situations, including being trapped in an avalanche, chased by a bear, hit by a tornado and stalked by a shark.
John Luscombe and Andrew Farrell are serving as executive producers on the Still Alive for Beyond Productions, with Christo Doyle executive producing for Discovery Channel alongside producer Meagan Davis.
