Belinda Cherrington joins 360Productions

Cherrington has stepped into the newly created role of director of UK factual at the London and Northern Ireland-based indie prodco.

London and Northern Ireland-based indie factual producer 360Productions has hired award-winning director and executive producer Belinda Cherrington as its first director of UK factual. Cherrington joins the prodco from Renegade Pictures where she served as an executive producer with a focus on generating specialist factual and access ideas for BBC Two, Channel 4 and BBC Four.

Her development experience across a number of factual genres includes primetime commissions for Ben’s Zoo on BBC Two, Surgery School on ITV, Around the World in 80 Trades on Channel 4, X-Ray Yellowstone on Discovery and National Geographic’s Crowd Control

Cherrington has held senior producer and director roles at a number of UK prodcos, including senior and executive positions at Lion TV, Films of Record, Mentorn Media Tigress Productions and Tiger Aspect. She was also nominated for a BAFTA of her first directing role, which saw her make four episodes of BBC One series Hotel.
