Ben Lister has joined multi-platoform network (MPN) for action sports athletes and creators XTreme Video as its chief operating officer.

Lister (pictured) will lead XTreme Video’s newly created offices in Los Angeles, which sits in the tech hub of Playa Vista, which is also home to companies including YouTube and Facebook. In his new role at XTreme, he will oversee the company’s expansion into North America, by way of the U.S., after already having built a strong presence in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Lister brings to the role 17 years of experience working with a number of companies in the technology, media and telecom sector. He focuses on managing teams, growing revenue, and driving new business initiatives and partnerships across multiple platforms, including YouTube Facebook and Twitter.

Lister arrives at XTreme Video from Brave Bison (formerly Rightster) where he served as chief operating officer and led international expansion, talent management, technology and media.
