Ellen Lovejoy is moving up at A+E Networks, having been promoted to vice president, head of sales, Americas and formats.

Previously Lovejoy was A+E’s VP of international content sales, overseeing content sales to Canada and the U.S., as well as global format sales. This new role expands her focus to include Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market.

Based in New York, Lovejoy’s new role has her reporting to Joel Denton, MD of international content sales, and  Edward Sabin, executive MD of international.

The current Latin America sales consultant, Mayra Bracer, will continue to work with Lovejoy through NATPE and other special projects.

Lovejoy joined A+E in 2011 when she was brought on as senior director, international content sales. Just over a year later she was promoted. Before joining A+E, Lovejoy was the SVP sales and programming for Target Entertainment, overseeing licensing to the U.S., Canada and Latin America from 2002 – 2011.

Lovejoy is joined by Helen Jurado and Bryan Gabourie, both senior directors, content sales for Latin America and Canada/US, respectively.
