All3Media-owned prodco Raw TV has appointed Century Films exec Liesel Evans as creative director UK factual.
During her tenure at Century Films, Evans served as director of programs and oversaw such series as Channel 4′s 2017 BAFTA nominated film Kids on the Edge, Married Behind Bars and Bouncers; BBC4′s Mumbai High: The Musical and B is for Book; and two seasons of ITV’s Parking Wars .
Evans’ appointment marks the second executive appointment from the London-headquartered factual producer following the company’s recent acquisition by All3Media. Last week, Raw elevated Louise Norman to head of U.S. documentaries and senior VP of special projects.
Founded in 2001, Raw focuses on creating high-quality factual and scripted content for broadcasters worldwide. The studio’s production stable includes Ikea documentary Flatpack; The World’s Biggest Furniture Store; BBC2′s Abortion: What Britain Really Thinks; Channel 4′s Chris Packham: Me and My Asperger’s; the Kevin Spacey exec produced Race for the White House; A&E Networks’ David Koresh and the Siege of Waco (w/t); and CNN’s Kennedys: an American Dynasty (w/t).
