UK commercial broadcaster Channel 5 has commissioned a spin-off series of 5Star’s 100% Hotter from FremantleMedia-backed UK indie Naked Entertainment.
100% Hotter: Make Me Over (6 x 60 minutes) aims to make over disheveled individuals by placing them in the capable hands of a team of expert stylists who will provide them with a new look.
After hearing what the public thinks of their look, participants will be completely transformed with a head to toe makeover before once again being rated by the public to determine whether the style team has hit their mark.
100% Hotter: Make Me Over is slated to launch this fall on Channel 5′s digital television channel 5Star.
Elsewhere, 5Star has recommissioned for a third season run of 100% Hotter (pictured), consisting of six hour-long episodes scheduled to return in the next year.
“Fans of the show have been letting us know they want to see make-overs as well as make-unders so we’re delighted that 5Star, who have been so supportive of the brand, have decided to grant their wish and greenlight this spin-off,” said Naked Entertainment’s CEO Simon Andreae in a statement.
