Food and drink-focused content and production agency Delightful Media has hired former Channel 4 commissioner Robert Marsh as managing director.
With more than 20 years of digital media experience, Marsh joins the London-based agency to build on its reputation as a producer of premium quality branded and social video content.
Marsh will work in tandem with Delightful founder and creative director Jonathan Almond to create food and drink content for brands while also building focused content channels delivering social video.
Marsh has previously held production and digital roles with the Amsterdam-based International Broadcasting Convention, British advertising prodco Sassy Films and Turner, where he was interim digital commercial development director.
Prior to this, he was new media commissioner at Channel 4 over a near nine-year period, ran FremantleMedia’s UK digital business, and later set up digital and branded entertainment company Zodiak Active. In addition to his executive roles, Marsh was also chair of the Branded Content Marketing Association.
Delightful, which launched in August 2016, was founded by three former executives from The Jamie Oliver Group – Almond, Katie Nelson and Steve Cardwell. Nelson and Cardwell have since left the company. The agency’s mandate is to meet massive demand for digital campaigns in the food and drink field from brands and publishers by expediently and efficiently producing relevant content.
