Also hitting the road is adventurer and explorer Josh Gates in a new season of Expedition Unknown, premering Dec. 27 at 9 p.m on Travel Channel ET/PT.
This time, Gates’ curiosity leads him to destinations around the world to uncover the truth behind some of the most fascinating legends and lore. Home renovation duo Ben and Erin Napier return to HGTV for a sophomore season of Home Town (RTR Media) starting Jan. 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The new parents will transform more outdated properties into stunning family homes in the 10-episode season. During each episode, Ben and Erin will show clients two antiquated but budget-friendly spaces that meet the families’ needs. Erin, an artist, will share her watercolor rendering of both old houses to help families see how she and Ben, who is a woodworker and craftsman, will update their dream property.
