Competitive entertainment channel Game Show Network (GSN) has bolstered its programming slate with the debut of three original series in 2018.
Anchoring GSN’s forthcoming content schedule are two new strip series: America Says (w/t), an in-studio game quiz show, from Entertainment One; and Caroline & Friends (w/t), hosted by actor and comedian Caroline Rhea (pictured), from Fishbowl Worldwide Media. Both shows are slated to premiere in summer 2018.
The network’s other new addition is Ashley Oaks Media’s hour-long docuseries Cover Story, which launched in January 2018 and looks at the personalities and memorable moments of the most popular game shows of all time, has been picked up by the network and will have specials scheduled throughout the year.
The network is also in development on a host of new projects including Game Show Enterprises’ studio-based game show Catch My Bluff, in which contestants make up fake answers to trivia questions; Hideout Pictures’ ambush game show Movin’ Money (w/t); and RIVR Media’s Mall Madness (w/t), a shopping spree game show set in the Mall of America.
Elsewhere, Snap Decision, hosted by David Alan Grier of The Carmichael Show fame, returns for a second season. Also returning to the network are the part game show, part social experiment Divided and the numerical fact-stacking game show Winsanity.
