Youth media brand Vice Media has named Havas Group veteran executive Dominique Delport as president of international and chief revenue officer.

Delport joins Vice having professional experience in television, digital and mobile, as well as operational and revenue expertise across all of Vice’s lines of business. Delport, who previously served as global managing director of Havas Group, will report to Nancy Dubuc, the company’s newly appointed CEO who joins Vice this spring.

James Rosenstock will remain as president of Viceland International and chief corporate development officer.

In his new roles, Delport will lead the generation of revenue across linear, mobile and digital, and oversee the company’s expansion around the world. This also extends to Virtue and Vice+, Vice’s in-house execution arm specializing in creating content, experiences and thought leadership for brands, agencies and publishers.

Before joining Vice, Delport spent 17 years with the global advertising group Havas and entertainment group Vivendi as Havas’s global MD and Vivendi’s head of content, as well as a board member. During this time, Delport created the mobile content arm Studio+, the mobile-first short drama platform.

“Dom Delport is a true legend in the industry. His profound understanding of content both in the digital and terrestrial spheres is unparalleled. As the media landscape continues to change and shift, that knowledge will prove priceless going forward and help direct us in our mission to become the most relevant media organization for young people in the world,” said Vice founder Shane Smith¬† in a statement.

“Dom also understands companies, agencies and large brands better than anyone else out there,” Smith continued. “He’s a brand whisperer that understands the crucial intersection of content and platform. The fact that he is coming to Vice to round out our Dream Team (and I’m talking the Jordan, Magic, Bird era dream team), shows our commitment to making Vice the media company of the future. I couldn’t be more proud to welcome Dom to the Vice family, or more excited to see where the next epoch in our evolution takes us.”
