Premium digital content studio Stage 13, a division of Warner Bros. Digital Networks, has lifted Shari Scorca to the post of VP of unscripted content.
Scorca has led the Los Angeles-based shop’s unscripted content development and productions since 2016. Her production credits include the award-winning hip-hop music docuseries Independent, lifestyle series Lipstick Empire, and Netflix’s cannabis cooking competition series Cooking on High.
With the promotion, Scorca’s remit will be expanded to include oversight of the Stage 13 in-house production team.
She reports to Stage 13′s SVP and GM Diana Mogollón.
Previously, Scorca was director of programming and executive producer at Latino-focused lifestyle entertainment network mun2/NBC Universo. During her tenure there, Scorca exec produced more than 100 hours of unscripted series, including docureality, live music specials, entertainment specials and branded content for U.S.-based Latino millennial audiences.
Scorca began her television career at MTV News in New York before serving as bureau chief for MTV News in Los Angeles.
Elsewhere, the company has brought Christopher Mack, formerly SVP of Warner Bros. Television Workshop, on board as SVP of scripted content.
