Season two of TLC’s Unexpected is back beginning Aug. 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Produced by Eastern TV for TLC, the show (pictured) follows the journeys of five teenage couples, and their families, as they navigate the challenges that come with an unexpected teenage pregnancy and parenthood. Audiences will get a first-hand look at the challenges that the families encounter while raising their teenagers, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Chef Robert Irvine returns to battle chef Anne Burrell in a Worst Cooks in America rematch on Food Network.
Produced by Optomen and debuting Aug. 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the chefs will each lead a team of kitchen-challenged competitors through an intensive seven-episode culinary boot camp competition designed to improve their culinary skills. In the finale, the one contestant who shows the most improved culinary transformation is awarded US$25,000 and bragging rights for their mentor.
Elsewhere, Smithsonian Channel is bringing back its touted Sacred Sites series to explore enigmatic religious sites found around the world.
Featuring advanced scientific discoveries and archaeological research, new episodes of the series will bring viewers to sanctified and historical locations stretching from Europe to North Africa, through the Mayan civilization in the Americas, across the path of the Camino de Santiago and more. Sacred Sites premieres Aug. 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and is produced by Tile Films Limited for Smithsonian Channel.
Across the ocean, Sky Vision, the production and distribution arm of Sky, has acquired the distribution rights to series two of A User’s Guide to Cheating Death.
