A+E Networks-owned women-focused network Lifetime is prepping a one-hour special about a couple awaiting the birth of their 14th child as part of its Real Love programming block.

Produced by New York-based indie Atlas Media Corp., 13 Sons & Pregnant features Michigan parents Kateri and Jay Schwandt who have 13 sons, ranging in age from 25 to two years old. Kateri is pregnant once again, and the couple is keeping their family tradition of waiting until the birth to find out the sex of the baby.

13 Sons & Pregnant documents the family’s final days as they wait to find out whether their 14th child will be another son or their first daughter. With the chaos of having 13 children, the couple is trying to prepare for the new arrival and cherish each moment of this pregnancy, as it may be their last.

Bruce David Klein and Paulina Williams serve as executive producers for Atlas Media Corp on the special. Executive producers for Lifetime are Gena McCarthy, Brie Miranda Bryant and Shura Davison.

13 Sons & Pregnant bows Oct. 2 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
