Netflix will release its latest unscripted series Westside globally on Nov. 9.

The series follows nine young Los Angeles-based musicians, with each episode offering glimpses into their creative processes, personal lives and efforts to break into the industry. Verité-style documentary footage will offer behind-the-scenes access, combined with music videos showcasing their original songs.

Westside follows each artist individually while also documenting them as they prepare an ensemble number to be performed at an LA nightclub.

Cast members include Sean Patrick Murray, Pia Toscano, James Byous, Arika Gluck, Austin Kolbe, Caitlyn Ary, Leo Gallo, Alexandra Krekorian and Taz Zavala, along with Grammy-winning music producer Philip Lawrence, acting coach Susan Batson and music director Keith Harrison.

Westside will feature full-length original songs and music videos, including original tracks written by more than 25 multi-platinum and Grammy award-winning songwriters and producers.

Warner Bros. Records will also release a 20-song soundtrack to accompany the series.

Westside is produced by Love Productions and Madwood Studios. It is directed by James Carroll and executive produced by Kevin Bartel, Richard McKerrow, Michael Flutie, Sun de Graaf and Lara Spotts.
