Stehmeier (pictured, right) will oversee television distributor Red Arrow Studios International, owned by German-based media co ProSiebenSat.1 Media, and U.S. indie film distributor Gravitas Ventures. He will report to Jan Frouman, chairman & CEO of Red Arrow Studios.
Stehmeier currently serves as the Studio’s executive vice president of global sales, responsible for shepherding Red Arrow’s international sales teams based in London, Munich, Los Angeles and Hong Kong.
Stehmeier has been with Red Arrow since 2016. He previously held posts at such companies as Factory Media, Off the Fence, Optomen International and Bullseye TV.
Meanwhile, current Red Arrows Studio International president Pabst (pictured, left) has been elevated to a newly created senior executive position within ProSiebenSat.1′s Entertainment division, effective Jan. 1, 2019.
Pabst will be tasked with overseeing all commercial matters related to local content commissioning, IP monetization, windowing and content acquisitions.
This new role was “established to optimize rights management and commercial deal-making across the Group’s linear and digital entertainment platforms,” a Red Arrow Studios release noted.
Pabst will report to Conrad Albert, deputy CEO and group general counsel at ProSiebenSat.1, and Wolfgang Link, head of ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland. Pabst will join ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland’s management board. Additional details on Pabst’s new role will be announced in the coming months.
Pabst joined Red Arrow in 2011, working his way up to taking responsibility for Red Arrow Studios International in November 2014.
Previously, Pabst worked for IMG Media and in TV production and development.
