Multinational media and entertainment company Entertainment One (eOne) has bolstered its alternative programming team under Tara Long with a recent hire.
Former T Group Productions executive David Kelleher (pictured, left) is on board as SVP of production and operations of alternative programming for television. In the role, he is tasked with oversight of eOne’s alternative production stable, as well as managing daily operations for the department.
Kelleher reports to Long, eOne’s EVP of alternative programming for television, and is based in Los Angeles.
Prior to joining eOne in July, Kelleher held a nine-year tenure at T Group, where he was most recently EVP of production and operations. In that time, Kelleher oversaw T Group’s production business, directing both legal and business affairs as well as corporate finance. In addition, he managed a production slate that included History’s Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour, E!’s Very Cavallari and Food Network’s Mystery Diners.
Before joining T Group in 2009, Kelleher was executive in charge of production for E! Entertainment and Style Network.
The media giant has also elevated Will Erb (right) to VP of production of alternative programming for television.
Reporting to Kelleher, Erb will manage all aspects of production for current programming. Having joined eOne in September 2017, Erb has worked on such major unscripted series as Death Row Chronicles, Growing Up Hip Hop and We’re the Campbells.
Prior to joining eOne, Erb was a freelance executive in charge of production at assorted reality prodocs, including 3 Ball Entertainment and Michael Levitt Productions. He was additionally a line producer at A. Smith & Co. Productions and Endemol Shine North America.
“David is a talented executive that brings a wealth of knowledge to the team, and the promotion of Will is much-deserved recognition [of] his outstanding contribution to our growing and thriving slate of series in production,” said Long in a statement.
