The Asia Television Forum and global distributor All3Media International have unveiled the five shortlisted formats selected to present live on-stage during the 2018 ATF Formats Pitch.

The ATF Formats Pitch showcases ideas for Asian formats ready for export and development. The event will take place on Dec. 6 during the Asia Television Forum – running Dec. 4-7 – in Singapore.

This year’s winner will receive a cash prize and valuable follow-up consultancy.

The five original non-scripted formats that have been selected to pitch include Post Box of Miracles from Hunan TV (China); Darefrom Wildsnapper TV (Malaysia); Serenadefrom phoSumpro! (Malaysia); $10 to Chef from Cenmedia (Republic of Korea); and Battle of the Dead from Doghouse 73 Pictures (Malaysia).

Creators of the five shortlisted formats will be invited to pitch their ideas on-stage to a panel of industry experts. The panel features Jennifer Batty, chief content officer at VOD service HOOQ; Jocelyn Little, MD and founding partner of Beach House Pictures; Lynn Ng, director of content strategy and acquisitions at Discovery Networks Asia Pacific; Varavuth Jentanakul, CEO and chair of Zense Entertainment; and Sabrina Duguet (pictured), EVP of Asia Pacific and head of All3Media International’s Singapore office.
