Expectation Entertainment, the fledgling London-based prodco from former ITV exec Peter Fincham and previous Endemol Shine Group boss Tim Hincks, has named Emily Dollman to the role of head of development for its factual division.
Dollman (pictured) will work alongside Colin Barr (creative director for factual and factual drama) and Amy Flanagan (creative director for factual). Head of development is a new role at the company reflecting Expectation’s expanding team, which added senior executive producers Ruth Kelly and Dominique Foster earlier this year.
Previously, Dollman was head of development for three years at British-American prodco Maverick TV, where she was responsible for developing commissions including Inside The Ritz for ITV; Bizarre ER for E4; and Escape and Tried and Tasted, both for Channel 4. Her production experience includes working on a broad range of programs including The Apprentice, The Voice, The Audience and The Young Ones.
“Emily has all the cross genre instincts and abilities that a company like Expectation needs,” said Barr in a statement. “She’s as comfortable with concept as she is editorial and her energy and ambition are the perfect fit. We’re lucky to have her.”
