Los Angeles-based global studio Propagate Content has promoted Isabel San Vargas to the newly created role of president of production and operations.
San Vargas, who previously served as EVP, will manage all aspects of production and operations at Propagate. This includes oversight of the company’s international and domestic production and post-production, rights and clearances, ancillary businesses, corporate finance, IT, telecom, human resources, risk management and planning.
Prior to joining Propagate in 2016, San Vargas served as SVP of production at Pilgrim Studios, now Pilgrim Media Group, where she oversaw a broad slate that included American Chopper, The Ultimate Fighter and Street Outlaws, among other properties.
Before that, she was a freelance producer on series including America’s Next Top Model, The Simple Life, and Making the Band.
“Propagate’s production slate is expanding rapidly, both through strategic acquisitions and organic growth, and we are thrilled to announce that Isabel’s role is growing with it,” said Owens and Lipstone in a joint statement. “Throughout her career as a producer and an executive, Isabel has demonstrated an uncommon command of the art and business of creating top-notch content.”
