While it might not have been the best of nights for the Los Angeles Rams, other members of the animal kingdom fared a little better during the Super Bowl telecast, as global streaming giant Netflix released the latest trailer for its upcoming nature docuseries Our Planet during the game on Sunday night (Feb. 3).

According to Netflix, the move marked the first time a nature docuseries spot has aired during the national football broadcast.

The previously-announced, eight-part series is narrated by celebrity natural historian and broadcaster David Attenborough.

Shot over four years in 4K, the series offers a glimpse into never-before-filmed areas of the planet’s remaining wilderness and their animal inhabitants. It spans 50 countries across all the continents of the world, and was made with over 600 crew members across more than 3,500 filming days.

Our Planet is a collaboration with Bristol-based Silverback Films, producers of Planet Earth and Blue Planet for BBC, and global conservation organization the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

The series launches globally on Netflix April 5. A companion book will be published by Transworld, also in April .
