Bandit Films taps Red Arrow Int’l to distribute Apollo 11 doc

Bandit Films has appointed global distributor Red Arrow Studios International to distribute the Apollo 11 moon landing doc Prisoners of the Moon internationally.

Prisoners of the Moon (1 x 75 minutes; 1 x 52 minutes) tells the true story of Arthur Rudolph, one of the hundreds of Nazi V2 rocket engineers who was secretly brought to America in 1945 to work on the Cold War missile program. He became a critical member of NASA’s race into space, but his past caught up with him in 1990 when he was detained in Toronto on suspicion of being a war criminal.

Director Johnny Gogan dramatizes Rudolph’s trial from never-before-seen transcripts, archival footage and excerpts of witness interviews.

Red Arrow will launch the feature documentary at MIPTV held in Cannes, France from April 8 to 11.
