All3Media-owned Maverick Television has named Hannah Brownhill as its creative director, effective May 13.
In her new post, Brownhill will be tasked with helping expand the London-based production company’s business, in addition to adding popular factual and factual entertainment shows to its slate. Brownhill will report directly into Maverick’s CEO Simon Knight.
Brownhill most recently served as director of development at Warner Bros.-owned factual label Renegade Pictures. During her tenure at Renegade, she revamped the factual entertainment portfolio and secured paid development projects for Channel 4, BBC and UKTV’s W channel.
Meanwhile, during her time at FremantleMedia UK-owned Boundless Productions, Brownhill served as head of development where she secured numerous commissions, including BBC1′s The Week the Landlords Moved In, BBC3′s Worlds Toughest Jobs and Channel 5′s House Doctor Returns.
Maverick Television’s recent projects include the ITV series The Ritz, Channel 4′s Escape and Tried & Tasted: The Ultimate Shopping List. In the U.S., Maverick’s seventh season of the unscripted show Chrisley Knows Best recently launched, along with the new title Growing Up Chrisley.
