AMC-owned WE tv has greenlit a spin-off of its reality series Love After Lockup that will follow couples from the original series as they build their post-prison lives.

The 8 x 60-minute Love After Lockup: Life After Prison, produced by Sharp Entertainment,will build on seasons one and two of the original docuseries that follows couples making the transition to life on the outside world when one partner is released from prison.

Life After Lockup: Life After Prison will follow five couples from the original series, including Clint and Tracie; Marcelino and Brittany; Megan, Michael and Sarah; Scott and Lizzie (pictured); and Andrea and Lamar. The former inmates face a slew of hurdles and firsts in their post-prison lives, from raising children to purchasing their first homes to finding work and staying sober, all while dealing with the restrictions of parole and stresses of a new relationship.

Series executive producers are Matt Sharp, Dan Adler, Alan Madison and Sophie Mallam. Lauren P. Gellert and Kate Farrell are executive producers for WE tv.

Love After Lockup: Life After Lockup premiers in June 2019 on WE tv.
