Discovery-owned broadcaster OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network will delve into the lives of five high-powered Africa-American couples in Charlotte, North Carolina in the upcoming series To Have & To Hold: Charlotte.

The hour-long unscripted docuseries, produced by Endemol Shine North America subsidiary Truly Original, follows the numerous challenges couples face, ranging from financial stress to intimacy issues, and the ups and downs of parenthood.

The close-knit group of couples would do anything for each other despite the passionate and often different opinions they share. As pressures mount on the marriages and relationships, some might survive, while others crack under the pressure.

Executive producers are Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Stephen Mintz, Lucas Howe, Shari Ortner and Wendy Credle.

To Have & To Hold: Charlotte premieres June 1 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on OWN.
