Blue Ant Int’l hires Ludo Dufour to SVP role

Based out of L.A., the newly created position will focus on coproductions, coventures, pre-sales and more.

Worldwide distributor Blue Ant International has appointed Ludo Dufour to the newly created role of SVP, international coproductions and sales.

Based out of L.A., Dufour (pictured) will focus on coproductions, coventures, pre-sales, business development and distribution licensing in the U.S. Set to start on June 24, he will report to Solange Attwood, EVP of Blue Ant International. In a press release, Attwood noted that his past experience will assist the company with its growth plans in the U.S. market.

Dufour’s resume spans roles working within divisions like sales, marketing, business affairs and acquisitions.

Prior to joining the distributor, the exec was at Amsterdam-headquartered prodco and distributor Off the Fence for eight years, working his way up from sales exec to managing director of sales and coproductions. In his most recent role as managing director of sales and coproductions, he focused on sales and co-financing factual content and premium documentaries for the company.

In addition to his time at Off the Fence, Dufour’s past experience also includes working for Viacom Media Networks International (previously MTV Networks International) in social responsibility, international programme sales and communications.
