British pubcaster Channel 4 has filled a number of key senior positions at its England headquarters and UK creative hubs as part of its strategy to attract talent and boost creative content spending in the country.

The company tapped Sacha Mirzoeff, founder of Bristol-based Marble Films and former BBC Documentaries executive (Drugsland, KoKo The Human Gorilla), to take on the role of factual commissioning editor and head of hub at C4′s new creative hub in Bristol.

Will Rowson, executive producer at True Vision, (Muslims Like UsThe World’s Busiest Waterway) and Harjeet Chhokar (Ambulance,Secret Life of 4 & 5 Year Olds) will take up roles as commissioning editors of factual, based at the pubcaster’s national headquarters in Leeds, England.

Deborah Dunnett (Love it or List ItHoliday of My Lifetime with Len Goodman), who most recently served as C4′s nations and regions manager, becomes commissioning editor for popular factual, based at the company’s creative hub in Glasgow, Scotland.

“It’s incredibly exciting to see our 4 All The UK strategy begin to take shape and I’m so pleased with the caliber and range of different talents we’ve appointed in our first wave of N&R hires,” said C4′s director of programs Ian Katz (pictured) in a statement.
