Troy Searer, president of recently launched New York Post Entertainment, joins Jimmy Fox for the latest edition of the Unscripted and Unprepared podcast, presented in partnership with Realscreen and now available via iTunesStitcher, Spotify and Google Play.

At NY Post Entertainment, Searer is responsible for the production and development of projects for cable, streaming, broadcast and digital platforms, leveraging the Post‘s brand-affiliated intellectual property as well as its newsroom resources.

Searer has previously produced myriad series via his production label Tijuana Entertainment, including Strange Days for A&E; Inside Rehab for OWN; and Breaking Bonaduce and Shooting Sizemore for VH1.

His past production credits include Discovery’s Manhunt: Unabomber, Investigation Discovery’s Betrayed, NBC’s Biggest Loser, Friday Night and Hang Time.

In his chat with Fox, Searer discusses his diverse career, which spans the scripted and unscripted genres that saw him collaborating with the likes of renowned television producer Peter Engel, as well as with Corey Feldman and the late Corey Haim during the production of A&E’s The Two Coreys.

With Main Event Media, credits include Spike’s true-crime series It Was Him: The Many Murders of Ed Edwards, as well as the unscripted comedy, Hollywood Darlings for POP.
