All3Media-owned studio Lime Pictures has appointed ITV Studios Entertainment executive Helen Kruger Bratt as head of production for unscripted.
In the new role, Kruger Bratt (pictured) will be responsible for overseeing all program production, including Geordie Shore and The Only Way Is Essex, when she boards the London-headquartered production outfit this fall. She will additionally be tasked with managing the production on a raft of development projects for both Lime and its umbrella companies, including the nascent Leeds-based prodco Wise Owl Films, headed by Shiver founder Mark Robinson.
The executive currently serves as executive in charge of production at ITV Studios Entertainment, where she has most recently been responsible for the delivery of such programs as I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here and Saturday Night Takeaway. She is also credited with being a key player in the 2015 reboot of ITV2′s dating format Love Island, having also negotiated two additional seasons through 2020.
Kruger Bratt is slated to join Lime following the May appointment of Nick Johns as head of development for unscripted by way of the production arm of Scottish broadcaster STV.
“We have ambitious plans for the unscripted slate both here in the UK and internationally and Helen’s extensive experience in managing program juggernauts from pitch to broadcast provides us with the most robust support we could have to reinforce an incredibly strong creative team,” said Little and Poyser, in a joint statement.
