Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has partnered with acclaimed producer Mark Burnett to develop the comedic quiz show Generation Gap for American broadcast network ABC.
The game show will group together family members of different generations as they work together to answer a variety of pop-culture trivia questions and challenges about each other’s generations.
Additional details surrounding production and air dates, as well as a host, will be announced at a later date.
Generation Gap is produced by MGM Television, headed by Burnett, and Kimmel’s newly minted media company Kimmelot. Burnett and Kimmel serve as executive producers on the game show alongside Barry Poznick, MGM’s president of unscripted television.
Generation Gap was revealed as part of ABC’s Television Critics Association event on Monday (Aug. 5).
